A Luxury Black-Tie Wedding at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs

The weekend started with an intimate Lake Terrace ceremony and transitioned to a glamorous Grand Ballroom reception. This full-weekend affair showcased why The Broadmoor is one of the most sought-after luxury wedding venues in Colorado.

Day One: Ceremony on the Lake Terrace & Dinner in the Crystal Ballroom

The celebration began with a romantic ceremony on the Broadmoor’s Lake Terrace. This space offers sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains as well as Cheyenne Lake. Snow-dusted peaks framed the vows, creating a winter wedding moment unlike any other.

After the ceremony, Taylor & Nicholas tucked away into The Broadmoor’s elegant  Pourtales Library. This was the perfect setting for signing their marriage license (one of the most important parts!). This space boasts rich wood details and antique accents, which provided a beautiful pause in the day. Following cocktail hour, guests gathered for dinner in the Crystal Ballroom. This space is the perfect intimate setting. With sparkling chandeliers, historic charm, and exquisite service, the evening felt like an elegant dinner party in a European palace— undeniably perfect for the couple’s closest friends and family.

Day Two: A Grand Ballroom Wedding Reception

The next evening, the celebration expanded into a large-scale reception in the Rocky Mountain Ballroom. This space is designed for black-tie weddings. Complete with gilded details, soaring ceilings, and plenty of room for dinner and dancing, the Rocky Mountain ballroom is nothing short of exquisite. Guests enjoyed an elevated menu with live entertainment provided by Diamond Empire Band. This lively atmosphere undoubtedly embodied the couple’s vision for a luxury Colorado wedding.

And for the grand finale, the couple hosted their after-party in the resort’s bowling alley, Play. Complete with late-night bites, espresso martinis, and plenty of friendly competition, this gave guests the chance to relax and celebrate in a truly one-of-a-kind way.
