A Night at the Rose Andom Center Gala: Real Moments, Real Impact | Denver Event Planner Insights

This October, I got to be part of something truly special—the Rose Andom Center’s annual Illuminating Hope gala, hosted at the Curtis Hotel. As a Denver event planner passionate about luxury event planning for charity galas, it was inspiring to see the whole community come together to lift up survivors of domestic violence and honor their incredible strength.

As a corporate event planner focused on purpose-driven design, I am inspired by opportunities where elegance meets impact. The Illuminating Hope gala is a great example of non-profit event planning at its best, where thoughtful gala design and production can create both a memorable guest experience and meaningful change.

One of the highlights? MILCK’s live performance—her voice gave everyone goosebumps, and her message really hit home. There was even an intimate VIP set during cocktail hour for top supporters, which made the night feel even more special for those who’ve given so much to the mission.

The auctions were buzzing—people were excited to bid on luxury getaways and one-of-a-kind finds, all for a great cause. Huge shoutout to Photo Maki for the gorgeous photography and Modern Focus Experience for the endlessly fun photo booth! The entire night was wrapped in warm light and elegant touches, perfectly reflecting the “Illuminating Hope” theme.

Walking out at the end of the night, I felt both humbled and energized. Experiences like this remind me why I love what I do—bringing people together for a purpose, and helping them remember not just the event, but the story behind it.
